The iVu 1250 research grade CCD camera utilizes a patented micro-scan
technology to provide user variable resolutions from 1.4 to 12.5 megapixels. The
high sensitivity CCD combined with a fan cooled Peltier device assures excellent
lower light image capture while providing high image resolutions. The micro-scan
technology provides the benefits of the larger pixel size for light gathering
while maintaining a smaller sensor format. They are ideal for clinical and life
science applications where high resolution is needed for archiving and
publication of images. Well suited for most applications except trace level
fluorescence (e.g. – POL, phase contrast, darkfield, brightfield, low-moderate
light fluorescence, transmitted/reflected light microscopy).
